A. Yes. The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) recently completely an assessment of the issue which led to the publication of two reports. http://www.epri-reports.org/ There’s a lot of technical information and the two reports combined are over 200 pages. However, if you spend an hour and read the Press Release, the Executive Summaries, the FAQ, and the Technology Primer then you will be very thoroughly informed on the subject and you won’t fear plugging in your vehicle.
