Are there any standard rates for European/Indonesian Experts?
No, there are no published standard rates for fees to be applied for European or Indonesian Experts within SPF-projects. However the expenditure proposed by the applicant in the project budget (including fee rates for experts used) will be evaluated as part of the financial evaluation to what extent the expenditure is necessary for the implementation of the project See: Guidelines for Applicants 2.3 (3) Please also note the following: 1. The cost of regular staff assigned to the project must not exceed those normally borne by the Beneficiary, and rates must not exceed those generally accepted on the market in question . See: Guidelines for applicants 2.1.5 2. The travel and subsistence for staff and external experts taking part in the project should correspond to market rates and should not exceed the rates generally accepted by the EC. For Indonesia the current Per Diem is 138/day.
