Are there any speed limit or lane restrictions for caravans and motorhomes in the UK?
A. Motorhomes UK speed limits for the majority of motorhomes are the same as for cars. Larger motorhomes, such as our 6 Berth Coachbuilt model, have reduced speed limits as shown below. There are generally no motorway lane restrictions for motorhomes unless towing a trailer. Caravans UK speed limits for ALL towing vehicles are NOT the same as for cars. Please see the chart below for details. When towing any trailer or caravan, vehicles are NOT allowed to use the outside lane of a three or four lane motorway.
