Workplace violence is a growing concern. While there is not a specific law in Ontario on workplace violence, the Occupational Health and Safety Acts general duty clause requires an employer to take all reasonable precautions to protect a workers health and safety. There are several things that employers can do to ensure workplace violence does not occur in the workplace.
