Are there any special requirements for projects that cost $250,000 or more?
Yes. Projects estimated to cost $250,000 or more require ECC review and approval. These projects also require State of Kansas review and approval and quarterly status reporting. Projects estimated to cost $1,000,000 or more, or expected to take one year or more, may also require a Feasibility Study. The Kansas Information Technology Office (KITO) is responsible for administrative oversight of agency IT projects and develops policies, architecture, and methodologies in support of agency IT activities. For more information see the KITO website at: http://da.state.ks.us/kito/.
