A. It depends on how the customer is using DocuCard. Because of the uneven stack height, about 100 sheets can be placed in the feed tray at one time. Exit bins have a capacity of about 150 cards using the 4135. If the application includes putting both a policy and a DocuCard page at the beginning or end of the document, the plain paper can be fed from tray 1 or 2 and the DocuCard document from tray 3 or 4. This allows the customer to print for quite some time. If the customer is printing only DocuCards, the Custom Application Services group has designed a special feed tray modification called a Tiltatron. The Tiltatron allows the customer to put about 350 sheets in each of the feed trays, enabling longer print runs. A Stackatron is available for use in high volume printers to maximize output. These devices are available directly from CAS (Telephone 00 1 716-427-5414). Lead-time is approximately two weeks.
