Are there any special considerations when trying to install The Edge Vent on a slate roof?
Air Vent has not performed an installation with slate roofing. It is possible that it could work, but Air Vent has not investigated all of the possible installation details that would need to be addressed. It will be critical that the underlayment is installed adequately over the vent and that the vent is secured to the roof deck at more locations than the 10 reinforced nail bosses.
