Are there any special considerations for classifying the following room uses?
Room use is based on the specific functions of each individual room. There are ten major categories and numerous sub-categories which provide flexibility in coding room use at the institutional level. This is the type of information needed by the colleges/department. Offices of the deans/directors The administrative/support areas within deans/directors offices ordinarily should be classified as Departmental Administration. This category includes college-level administrative activities/space. Exceptions should be made, however, for space applicable to the direct mission activities of deans/directors and associate/assistant deans/directors.
