Are there any similar ideas shared among Albanian intellectuals?
Can anybody speak openly and think that way here? MALICI: There are ideas about victims here, and if there is a revenge, it’s the revenge of victims. That means that there isn’t a systematic revenge here, planned and prepared for years. There are no organisations, for example, actively propagating violence towards Serbs. The Kosovo Liberation Army and the Kosovo government have been accusing Serbs of all acts of violence, but you can’t put your finger on anything officially. They say there are individuals who use violence and that they are members of the Kosovo Liberation Army. The Serbian government has been introducing discriminatory laws for years, and there is collective guilt which doesn’t have to be punished, because not all Serbs are responsible for what was happening in Kosovo.
