You have right. It’s not recommended to take these two medicaments together. It’s not safe to mix aspirin with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). If your father is on aspirin therapy to prevent a heart attack or stroke, NSAID drugs can block the benefits of aspirin and leave him at higher risk of a heart attack or stroke. Tell him to try with different kind of painkillers, like paracetamol.
