Are there any side effects from using the PressPoint?
No. The PressPoint System release no chemicals of any kind into your body. It works by gentle pressure alone, applied by yourself onto specific acupuncture points. The tiny balls do not pierce your skin, but they work on the identical acupoints used by doctors of acupuncture. Anyone can use the PressPoint System safely, regardless of whether you are using a pacemaker, taking medications, or are pregnant. Doctors have recommended this system for their patients because of its non-invasive and nature. The only complaint we have had so far was itchiness around the earpoints from a few users who had very sensitive skin with allergies to certain metals or adhesive tapes. If that happens, discontinue the treatment for a while and resume it once the skin returns to normal.
