The 50th anniversary of Twilight Zone’s premiere is in October 2009. Rod’s hometown Binghamton, NY, will hold ceremonies and a film festival around that time. Ithaca College in upstate New York, where Rod taught writing, held Rod Serling Conferences in 2006 and 2008; the college will hold another conference in October 2009.
