Are there any Scottish traditions or customs for moving into a house?
I do not believe there is an ancient history thing. it seems to be a universal thing just as we would do in North America. However, one may want to research ancient Gael, Celt, Scot, and Pict superstitions. Google the term: housewarming scottish tradition custom. Look up Handsel Monday on the Chamber’s Book of Days.
