Once both your bets are placed at the two bookmakers, there are no risks and whatever the outcome you will have a small percentage profit. There is however a minimal risk at the point of placing the two bets which you should be aware of. Firstly, odds are constantly changing and it is possible that during the time of placing your first bet at the first bookmaker, the odds of your second bet are changing at the other bookmaker and when you come to place your second bet, the arbitrage is not what it was. This is a small risk but it is a risk that is there. Secondly, it is possible that there can be a technical problem at one of the online bookmakers and you can find yourself having placed your first bet and finding out you can’t place your second bet at the other bookmaker due to a server problem for example.
