Are there any risks in breathing high purity oxygen?
In 1997, a new association called NOBA (National Oxygen Bar Association) was founded to define policies and safety procedures. The American Lung Association said that there’s no risk as long as the oxygen is inhaled through a nose hose (see picture on the left) for periods no longer than 60 minutes.
