Are there any risk associated with jailbreaking your iphone 3g/3gs without installing SSH?
First of all you can’t SSH until you jailbreak your iphone. after that if you want to you can change the username/password to your iphone, so that other people can’t get into it (this is very unlikely since you have to be connected to THEIR wifi and they need to know your IP address). And you can live your whole life without SSH, sshing just adds a few more options and makes some things easier to do. And you were absolutely right, if something goes wrong you can restore, but you will loose ally our information, unless you constantly back up your iphone.
