Are there any restrictions working around Electric Powers Green boxes, surface mounted service points?
Electric power pad transformers and switchgear (green or grey boxes) and residential service points (various sized green boxes) are always connected to underground cables and are installed within a public right of way. Obstructions (i.e. fences, shrubs, rocks, sheds, doghouses) cannot be built near them or within the easement that protect these facilities. Contact the Electric Utility with any further questions.
