Are there any restrictions to the inclusion of endorsements by healthcare professionals in promotional materials?
According to Article 15 of the Rules (this Article applies only for advertising of medicinal products in general public) advertising of non-prescription medicinal products shall not bear information which refer to the recommendations of scientists, experts from the field of human or veterinary medicine or publicly known persons which could, due to the media influence of such persons, encourage use of medicinal products. Similar provision is also in Article 87 of MPA. Hypothetically such endorsements could be enlisted in the promotional materials used for advertising in professional public.
