Are there any requirements for children to participate in the Fishing Derby?
The only requirements are that: (1) this is a “Catch-and-Release Fishing Event; (2) the child MUST be between the ages of 7 thru 12; (3) the child must live in the Lincoln 95648 Zip Code Area; (4) the child “MUST” be accompanied by at least one parent; and (5) the child will utilize Derby Event Equipment (DO NOT BRING FISHING EQUIPMENT). Additionally, though the Fishing Derby is only open to Lincoln children, only the first 125 Pre-Registered applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration applications beyond 125 will be put on a Waiting List.
