Are there any regulations in my state that restrict or prohibit me from selling nutraMetrix products?
In response to inquires from the field, the nutraMetrix(R) division of Market America (nutraMetrix) is passing along the following important information of particular interest to all NCs and HP Independent Distributors. nutraMetrix is presently aware of statutes in three states (New York, New Jersey and New Hampshire) which may regulate the selling activities of doctors and/or other health professionals. Here are citations to the statutes: • New York – NY CLS Educ Section 6531 • New Jersey – NJ SA Section 45:9-22.11 • New Hampshire – NH Med 501.02(h) and AMA Code 8.063 Please remember that all Independent Distributors (including NCs and HPs) are ultimately responsible for making sure their business activities comply with the law as stated in Paragraph 9 of the health Professional Application and Agreement and the Independent Distributor Application and Agreement (Distributor Applications).
