Are there any recipes for a healthy chocolate frosting?
Hey Emily, It really is hard to create a GOOD Frosting by substituting all ingredients. I do it if I’m just making something for me, but I ALWAYS make a PROPER Frosting if it’s for someone else. You need to remind yourself of the GOOD, HEALTHY aspects of regular ingredients: Dark Chocolate has antioxidants, Use Sugar in the Raw (you can use a Coffee Grinder to make it fine), Use Organically Produced Milk, Cream or Butter. We need to remember that it’s usually the Process in which these products are Created and Distributed that make them Un-Healthy. I agree with Angela Q. Use the BEST ingredients you can, eat less of it, and take an extra-long walk or bike ride to compensate. And ENJOY! Food is MEANT to be Enjoyed, not Worried About! Hope I was Helpful.
