Yes. When a residential customer leaves Tucson for a minimum of three consecutive months and requests suspension of Tucson Water service, refuse pick-up and the service fee can be temporarily discontinued. When the resident returns to Tucson and pays the water and sewer service reinstatement fees, their refuse service and fee will be reactivated.
