IN COLORADO, THE SENIOR CITIZEN WHO IS 65 OR OLDER MAY DEFER OR POSTPONE THE PAYMENT OF HIS PROPERTY TAXES ON HIS RESIDENCE. YOU MUST FILE BETWEEN JANUARY 1ST AND APRIL 1ST EACH YEAR AND YOU MUST FILE EACH YEAR. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT THE TREASURER’S OFFICE AT (719) 583-6682.
