Are there any products that HP does not accept in the inkjet cartridge recycling program?
The HP recycling program does not accept print cartridges from manufacturers other than HP. We also do not accept cartridges that have been refilled or remanufactured. At this time, Inkjet exceptions: It is our desire to recycle 100 percent of our cartridge components, but the unique materials in the cardboard bodies of HP print cartridges from the HP Designjet 2000CP, 2500CP, 3000CP, and 3500CP series printers make recycling unavailable with current technology. We are, however, able to take back the black plastic printhead attached to the hose.
