Yes. The requirement is a B.S.N. degree. An applicant’s B.S.N. must also demonstrate completion of a nursing research course and a statistics course. If your transcript does not include these courses, admitted students must complete these courses before taking NSG-5050 Research for Evidence-Based Nursing Practice in the M.S.N. program. In addition, admitted students are required to have a Bible minor or take required Bible courses, BEGS-6250 Bible Survey and BEGS-7250 Foundations of Biblical Theology, before or concurrent with other classes during the first year and before taking NSG-5060 Bioethics and Spiritual Care in Nursing. Applicants with Bible course credit from another institution may have the Bible prerequisite satisfied pending review of their application and transcript(s). An applicant who has not fulfilled these prerequisites, but has satisfied the M.S.N. admission requirements, may be conditionally admitted to the M.S.N. program.
