Are there any pre-certification requirements?
A. There are no specific pre-certification requirements to obtain a BEA Developer or Administrator certification or to take the 8.1 Enterprise Architecture exams. However, the SOA Enterprise Architecture program is a two-phase certification process, where the first phase is required in order to participate in the next for completion of the BEA SOA Enterprise Architecture certification. In addition, with the release of the new BEA Certified Developer: WebLogic Server 9 track we now offer an opportunity for you to “specialize” in an application framework using open-source technology. This option has a requirement to attend a relevant BEA Education Services course, as well as successfully completing the examination associated with the BEA Certified Developer: WebLogic Server 9 track. More information on certification requirements. Also note the certifications are based on the most current product version and we encourage you to stay abreast of the latest technologies and BEA product versi
