Are There Any Practical Ways to Study Gods Word?
There are a few different ways you can study the Bible. 1. Word Study – This is where you research a particular word to get deeper understanding of what it means and why it was used. 2. Topical Study – This is where you select a topic such as healing and focus your learning on that particular area. 3. Book Study – This is where you read and study a particular book in the Bible. Oftentimes these studies intermingle which is perfectly fine. You may be doing a book study when a particular topic or word jumps out at you. Great. Follow that. Its the Holy Spirit prompting you to dig deeper and find the truth that God has hidden for you. Please also note that there is no right or wrong method. The point of studying the Bible is to learn what God wants you to learn. Try not to get so caught up in a rigid schedule of reading whereas you might miss where God is trying to lead you.
