There are a few positive effects of climate change, but these are greatly outweighed by the negatives. Climate change will slightly increase crop yields if the climate warms a little, but too much and crop yields will fall drastically. However, climate change will not help plant and animal species and will decrease overall biodiversity. Also, melting ice may open shipping lanes but it is also causing sea levels to rise and endangering the water supplies for many people. Hope this helps!
