Are there any plans to use the platforms other than CDPD for the Insat Wireless Modem such as satellite or FM radio?
• When this company began the Insat project, the original intended platform for the modem was a satellite solution. Due to unforseen difficulties, we were forced into finding an alternitive medium for our wireless modem. In the future, we MAY POSSIBLY release a satellite product. The current Insat Wireless Modem is not able to upgrade to other platforms. • How is the Insat Wireless modem connected to the Internet? • The Insat Wireless Modem is connected to the Internet through the CDPD providers Network Access Point. Whenever the modem is on and the light is green it is connected to the Internet (EVEN IF THE COMPUTER IS OFF!).
