Given the variety of CASCADE Services and the potential interest of various stakeholders for different sets of applications targeted at their particular environment and operational needs, the CASCADE Programme does not envisage at this time any mandate for the ground implementation. For ADS-B-out the Regulatory Approach has established that the carriage of 1090 MHz Extended Squitter transmitters will be in the scope of the Surveillance Performance and Interoperability Implementing Rule.
