Are there any plans to change the NNMC fence line in order to place the Navy Exchange, McDonalds, and Gas station outside the fence perimeter?
A. At present there are no plans to move those facilities outside the secure area. We are working with the Maryland Department of Transportation to determine if it will be necessary for us to cede some of our current property to the State to support the expansion of roads or the accommodation of an additional access point to the Metro on the east side of Rockville Pike/355. We are prepared to transfer that property once the proper mechanism and procedures for doing so are defined.
