Are there any planets that orbit two stars?
no, because the two stars I pressume which you position in the centre of each closed loop would themselves have a gravitational attraction, and move towards each other. In general the three body problem is chaotic- ie. an arbitrarily small pertubation in the initial conditions will completely change the dynamics o the system in the future- so it’s unlikely we get a planet orbiting two stars via some complicated motion. Perhaps if we assume (as would be sensible) that the planet is of such negligable mass that the dynamical system of the two stars are unaffected by its position, you could have a binary system of two stars orbiting a common centre, and the planet orbiting at a large distance. But I don’t see this system being very stable. Generally you dont get very glamorous orbits occuring in real space, because these systems are unstable.
