Are there any particular considerations when choosing the site for the silo?
Firstly, the silo must be stored indoors. Secondly, it is extremely important to take into account the distance required for the delivery of wood pellet fuel when considering the positioning of the silo. Consideration must also be given to any bends that the pipe must take to get from the truck to the inlet point. As a guide we recommend that any timber house that has a straight-line connection from where the truck will be parked to the inlet should be at a connecting distance of no more than25m.
