Yes, it may be more appropriate for you to do a Master of Research (MRes) in either Theatre & Performance or Dance. We also offer MPhil/PhD supervision for people who already have a Masters degree. Although we are happy to supervise playwriting practice within either our MA Performance Practice or MRes Theatre & Performance, you may be interested in the MA Creative Writing if you are involved in the writing of scripts (and do not wish to also be active in processes of production). The University also offers a very popular PGCE in Secondary Drama Education for those who wish to teach theatre.
