In addition to ASD, VSD and PPHN, taking Paxil while pregnant may cause other serious heart defects, including cardiomyopathy, craniosynostosis, hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS), hypoplastic right heart syndrome (HRHS), patent ductus arteriosus, bicuspid aortic valve, tricuspid stenosis and cleft mitral valve.
