Are there any obvious logical or temporal incongruities in the series?
There are very few insofar as the series is well structured. However, the most obvious incongruities concern Texs activities during the period of the Civil War – primarily in issues written in the 50s and a few in the 70s. It must also be noted that the initial period of the series is not representative of Texs real chronology since most of the material was written from imagination rather than based on historical fact. It must also be pointed out that, after this initial period, the staff has been quite scrupulous in researching historical documents to support the stories.
