Are there any non-surgical ways to restore ones natural growing hair?
Currently there are two drugs approved by the FDA for the treatment of male pattern baldness – Rogaine and Propecia. Rogaine can be purchased over the counter, while Propecia requires a prescription. It is our experience that these drugs are more effective for maintaining existing hair than they are for regrowing previously lost hair. The media raises men’s hopes with new drugs and treatments, but rarely do these meet patient expectations. Regrettably, thousands of dollars later, the balding man is back where he started.
