As someone that was born in Daytona..if you do not mind the drive, I absolutely love north of Daytona and past Ormond. You can park right off A1A in the sand dunes practically. If you just get keep heading north, you will come to Bicentennial park. Another nice place to park. And if you keep going to almost Marineland/Painters Hill you will find a very nice beach with coquina rocks that is fun to explore. But my favourite is North of Ormond. Much quieter, even during Spring Break and Bike Week, you can park and walk down a boardwalk to the beach and enjoy a much quieter setting. The easiest way to get there is to take I-4 (I am not a fan of I-4 sorry) and then hit I-95 north. Exit at Ormond State Road 40 and go east until you hit A1A. Then head north about 15 minutes past Ormond by the Sea and you will find a lovely quiet beach. On the other hand, if you want quieter wave action, go the opposite way (west) on I-4 towards Clearwater/St Pete and hit one of the many beaches there. They te
