Are there any new Rate payment options offered by Council?
Yes. Council is pleased to introduce direct debt payments as a new option for Ratepayers. Fill out an application form to have your payments taken directly out of your nominated bank account automatically. To read the conditions and apply please follow this link – Direct Debit Options. Council will accept payments from ratepayers other than annually or quarterly. Regular payments can be tailored to suit individual needs. Contact Council’s Rates Department to discuss your options. Payments can be made at the following places: – Council Administrative Centre, 240 Blende Street – Any Australia Post Outlet Methods of Payments Enquire about having regular payments deducted from your Centrelink payment, in the Council Administrative Centre, 240 Blende Street or with Centreline (must have your rates assessment number) Council also accepts payment arrangements to suit individual ratepayer needs, including fortnightly or monthly.
