An information broadcaster query is treated exactly like a normal query. There are no additional hardware requirements if you broadcast queries that take hardware calculations into account. If, however, there is a need for a significant number of additional broadcasting queries, consider reviewing your sizing. In addition, using Broadcasting not only using e-mail but also with the SAP NetWeaver Portal requires the additional installation of a J2EE Server with SAP NetWeaver Portal or KM.
