There isn`t much. In Ilheus there are tours of a large, working, cocoa plantation. In the resort itself there is a mini cocoa plantation also which is just as good. Ilheus is a historic town featured in many Brazilian classics, and there are daily tours of the sites, the most popular one being the home of Brazilian writer Jorge Amado.
