Are there any MI units that deploy from Fort Meade, MD?
Not sure about that, but I know that if you have never deployed the army is currently sending those who have not deployed to major rapid deploy units. This is supposed to give some relief to those who have already been multiple times. Chances of someone who has never deployed getting Fort Meade is going to be really rare. You may have a chance coming from Korea, but if they are not giving it to you, probably because they don’t deploy. You just need to tell your wife to get packed up to go to Alaska. If she wants to be with you, she will move, its as simple as that. In the military you do not get to pick and choose where you go, and your wife chose you for better or worse, so call her and say pack your bags honey!
