I don’t know either but I can tell you the Chinese are totally obssessed with their ancient past, so I would not be at all suprised to find that copies of ancient maps are easily obtained. The Terrible Mao decades, of course, are airbrushed over and made to sound great, but their ancient past is constantly talked about. Try the main museum in Shanghai which is pretty good if you’re not already “museumed out” before you get there, and the museums around Tiannenmen Square, and the Forbidden City museums.
