Are there any Mangosteen side effects?
As of this writing there are no known contraindications for the use of Mangosteen with any medication. Watch for brands that mix other fruit extracts with Mangosteen to make sure there are no problem associated with them. There are a few precautions or conditions to be aware of. Allergic reactions such as headaches, itchy skin or minor body pain are possible. There are no known breathing problems associated with this reaction. People taking blood thinners should be monitored by Doctor, but many succesfully use Mangosteen. People undergoing Chemotherapy for cancer should consult with their Doctor to make sure Mangosteen does not interfere with the therapy. In many cases you can use this product during treatment. If Diarrhea or constipation occurs, follow label directions or cut your serving to alleviate the problem. My favorite Mangosteen supplement can cause Upset stomache or nausea if taken on an empty stomache.
