Are there any mac users who bought the new osX just to install windows as well?

I love my macs and I never need to use windows. But recently, my work got me a mac to program on, I have to use visual studio and so I need to use windows. If there was a Visual Studio version for mac, I would use it and forget the mac. The only reason to use windows a mac is if you have software that you absolutely need to use that only runs on a windows pc.

Personally I’ve found bootcamp unnecessary, parallels works almost just as well and the benifits of having coherance out way the slight speed cut if you dont need to do anything overly intensive.

That wasn’t the only reason I upgraded to Leopard, as I already had Windows on a spare drive on my Mac Pro with the beta of Boot Camp. The only reason I ever boot to Windows is to play games. Sadly the Mac severely lacks in the games area, so if I want to play the latest and greatest it’s got to be on Windows. But I must say, Windows has never run as well as it does on my Mac Pro. Macs are the best Windows computers ever!
