In general, MTP is open to managers from all branches of economy. It is not open to civil servants and employees of state and regional administration. Additionally, managers form the finance sector may take part in MTP only on an exceptional basis. Due to the nature of EU market conditions and business culture it will be hardly possible to access the area of pricing and many aspects of financial management. Also, managers are excluded who have participated in predecessor programmes of MTP (e.g. the Tacis PIP in Russia) or in parallel programmes from the Russian Federal Commission or the Ukrainian Initiative AND have undergone a traineeship abroad under one of these programmes. Can a manager apply if he/she is working for a EU company / subsidiary in his/her country?
