Are there any limitations on using the TransitChek QuickPay Card?

0

The TransitChek QuickPay Card is a very convenient and easy way to purchase your transit tickets, passes and MetroCards, and pay for commuter parking. It is not accepted for any other purpose. Additionally, you must make sure that you have enough available funds to make the purchase you want. If you are buying a monthly rail ticket, for example, from a ticket vending machine, you must have sufficient funds to pay for the entire cost of the monthly ticket. Some operators like NJ TRANSIT and Metro-North Railroad will let you pay part of the cost of a monthly ticket with your TransitChek QuickPay Card and the remaining amount with a personal check or cash when paying at a ticket window or through their Ticket-by-Mail program. Please check with your transit operator before you enroll for a TransitChek QuickPay Card to find out their policies so you can arrange for the correct payroll deduction when you enroll.
