Are there any legal issues between ika and the GPL?
Technically, games made with ika are not derivatives of ika, much like binaries compiled with GCC need not be GPL. Either way, I own rights to the code, and can relicense as I see fit. (I should change it to LGPL) If it makes you feel better, I hereby formally, with great stuffiness and crap, give permission for anyone to release their ika games under any terms they see fit, provided that it is clear that I made ika itself, and that ika can be obtained for free from this website. Any changes to ika itself, however, are subject to the terms of the GPL.
