Are there any lawyers devoted to being arbiters in small, private disputes such as those between neighbours?
There are many people that have small scuffles with neighbours such as noise, pets, parties etc.; taking such issues to court is lengthy and expensive. Perhaps if an arbiter handled the case (like Judge Wapner, etc.) these situations, the cause of many a headache, could be handled. Of course, other problems between friends, family, etc. could also be dealt with in the same way. Such a system would need to be publicized so that more people could take advantage of it and more lawyers should offer it.
