I’ve had issues using bridged network and checkpoint secure remote and having VMware autodetect what network interface to automatically bridge to. My solutions: A) Easy – configure the vm to use NAT (This is done under vm-settings device – ethernet 1 B) A little harder, but not much – If I want a bridged connection. With the virtual network editor, under the host virtual networking tab. Set up a virtual interface to map to your wireless (or wired) whichever you want the vm to use. Then under VM -> Settings, change the nic to custom and pull down the virtual interface you selected.
